Sometimes new churches will be a bit hesitant to use such a forward method but after a few campaigns try to promote the active method again. By then your relationship should help get more bottles out. Choosing when to run your campaign is an important step in running a successful baby bottle campaign.
Can be used for an outreach or missions project or for a set period of time i.e. A great way to get the whole family/church involved. The need is ongoing and your support is appreciated more than you can imagine. Through your regular channels of communication, remind your group of the date to turn in their bottle. We will have updated graphics and promotional ideas on this site for your use through a Bulletin, Newsletter, Facebook etc.

Size is pre-cut to 5.25” x 8.5” with room at the bottom for your organization's information. This bulletin insert speaks to fathers with encouragment to continue being a good father. They are designed to be passed out a week before Father's Day reminding people to bring their bottles back. Baby bottles are taken home and filled with donations through the month of October.
In the form, you can let us know how many baby bottles you would like and when and where you would like to pick them up. If you would rather make your own bottles, there is an option to let us know that too. Set the official launch date of your campaign (for many churches this will be Mother’s Day, and a return date) date the bottles need to be collected at church which is usually Father’s day. Your church need not necessarily use those dates, but a time frame of about 5 weeks is recommended.

One of our staff members is available to pick up the filled and empty bottles at the end of your campaign. Our center will then send a report noting how much your church raised. The Team Tab and Team Leaderboard will display team totals for donations given to individual fundraising pages or church fundraising pages on the team. To connect your online gift to your church or group, choose the name from the list.
By providing a way to easily donate, you are giving the congregation a convenient way to put their beliefs into practice. Collection of the bottles can be any planned for a Sunday 3-6 weeks later. Other fields, like contact info, could be removed to make the form simpler for your church representatives to register. Or, if you want a single giving page for donors to give money toward your organization's online baby bottle , choose the Crowdfunding product. If you choose Crowdfunding, continue setup of your Crowdfunding campaign by following the instructions here. The collection of bottles should be done in a way that is a blessing both to the ministry and the church body.
Setting Up a Baby Bottle Campaign
Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is a Sunday set aside each year to remember the day that abortion became legal in the United States. Many churches observe this Sunday in varying degrees; from notes in the bulletins to sermons on the sanctity of human life. SOHLS is on the Sunday closest to the Roe-V-Wade anniversary (Jan. 22nd). With the focus already on the value of life, SOHLS is a good time to distribute bottles.
If you do not have a bottle and wish to contribute to the campaign, you can fill your bottle virtually by clicking on the “Fill A Bottle” image above. Our annual campaign runs Mother’s Day-Father’s Day. All posters are customized with your text and are available in 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 sizes. Our posters are printed in full color on card stock. Optional 3.5” x 2” tear-off pad is printed in black ink on one side and has 50 sheets. Prices include customized text on poster & tear-off.
Individuals can create and join teams (there are no team pages; donations are made on the pages of individuals). You can manually register churches on the backend and either manage their fundraising page for them, or allow the church to manage it once it's been created. In this case, you may want to disable the option on the Campaign Web Page for anyone to register as a participant .

While the mechanics can be different, the basic idea is that the bottles are brought to the platform and then prayer is offered for both the ministry and the funds. In this way, the church is joining together in prayer to lift up the center in away that is God-honoring and appropriate. How the bottles get to the platform can vary. The bottles could be brought up during a song or during silent prayer.

This timing gives good “bookends” to the campaign. It is a perfect time to talk about the ministry of Family Resource Center and how you are helping mothers in need through this campaign. The bottles also raise awareness regarding the ministry of Life Centers. You can allow both individualsand churches to have their own baby bottle fundraising pages.Individuals and churches register and share their pages. Or, take a “Reverse Offering” and pass basket of bottles down each row for parishioners to take without even leaving their seats! Or, have a bottle distribution where the bottles are lined up on the platform and people come up right after your speech to take with them (normally done while singing/praying). In general, it is far better to come up with a method of distribution that presents each person with a real time opportunity rather than requiring them to pick up the bottle at a later time. Removing that small barrier can make a huge difference.
We will deliver the bottles to you prior to the start of your campaign. Reason why we have been able to serve families in this community since 1984. If the bottles are returned after original return date, please have a pre-determined, secure place for members to return them. Get your churches and organizers excited about the campaign by building interest before the bottle distribution.
